Caitlin French

Caitlin French is a first-year student in the Graduate Group in Nutritional Biology at the University of California at Davis. She graduated with a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in Music from the University of California at San Diego in 2008. From 2010 to 2012, Caitlin worked as a Municipal Development Advisor for the Peace Corps in Honduras, during which time she facilitated projects in community health and nutrition, recycling education, and improved stoves technology. Her research interests include merging community- and clinical-based research to explore the etiology and prevention of chronic disease in under-served populations. Caitlin joined the Niños Sanos, Familia Sana Project in January 2014 as part of the nutrition team, and has focused on investigating the impact of drinking water quality issues on health promotion in the study communities.
