Maria Isabel Rangel

Maria Isabel Rangel is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, earning a B.A. in Anthropology and minors in Public Health and Labor and Workplace Studies. She has worked as a bilingual health educator for the Latino community for five years and has been part of the research team for three academic research studies in the San Joaquin Valley. Born in Mexico and raised in Firebaugh, California, Maria has a first-hand experience of the various disparities faced by underserved communities in the San Joaquin Valley. She is excited to be working in her community and is looking forward to helping improve the quality of life for San Joaquin Valley communities while empowering them in the process.
